Emma Sage Kumano-Maloney is a Research Fellow at the Mellon Foundation and a recipient of the Vivero Digital Studies Fellowship. Her research explores the intersections of neoliberalism and social media with post-racial hope and multiracial bodies and families. She is particularly focused on interracial marriage and multiraciality, cultural preservation and motherhood. Currently, Emma is investigating themes of post-racial hope and multiraciality in interracial family narratives and their perceptions on TikTok. Her work aims to unravel the complexities of identity and representation digital spaces.
